Born in the tropical haze of southern China, I began my journey by tracing the dancing lines of Japanese cartoons, captivated by the simple magic of a pencil scratch.

For years, I struggled against the weight of tradition and the sting of being misunderstood. I chose the path of the self-taught artist, clinging to an aesthetic shaped by 1920s illustration, Japanese prints, and the stillness of Zen.

After years of battling my own perfectionism and the 'unviable' labels of critics, I found my truth: I paint to heal. Art is no longer my destination, but the path I walk to dissolve loneliness and cultivate love. My purpose is simple: to create works that whisper peace to you, just as they have finally brought peace to me.
